Operation Rules & Cautions for Rotating Disc Centrifugal Atomization Equipment

1、 Process parameters:                                                         

  1. SMelting Furnace: material liquid temperature 720 ℃, insulation power 23-24KW.
  2. Tundish: Maintain insulation when the brightness of the crucible is close to that of the furnace, with insulation power of 12-13 kW
  3. Discharge tube: Hot temperature 700 ℃, if manually insulated, the power is 11-12kw.
  4. Spindle speed: The electric spindle rotates at 2W for material feeding. Spray at 3.6W rotation.

2、 Operation steps:                                                              

  1. After the melting furnace, tundish, and discharge tube reach the target temperature, keep the temperature for more than 10 minutes.
  2. When the temperature of the discharge tube (empty & new) reaches around 500 ℃, turn on the high-speed motor and run it idle at 6K speed.
  3. Before pouring the material, the high-speed motor is accelerated to 2W, and a night's worth of observation is arranged at the Atomization chamber to observe the nozzle discharge situation. Once the material is discharged, the high-speed motor is immediately accelerated to 5W, and then the motor speed is stabilized to 63W based on the atomization effect.
  4. After the atomization is normal, turn on the atomization diskto cool and blow the air.
  5. Continuously monitor the liquid level of the intermediate package and avoid it being too high or too low. Too low affects the stability of the nozzle leakage column, and too high is inconvenient to handle in case of abnormalities. The appropriate pouring amount for the intermediate package is 1-2kg per time
  6. After the atomization is normal, someone should regularly inspect the atomization situation at the atomization room audition site.
  7. Attention should be paid to the sound of the high-speed motor during the atomization process. If there is obvious abnormal noise from the motor, the motor speed can be appropriately reduced and the material feeding can be minimized as much as possible in a timely manner. After the abnormal noise is eliminated, if the feeding tube has stopped feeding, perform step 3 to atomize again.
  8. After the atomization is completed, the intermediate package and feeding tube continue to maintain their original power and temperature, and the motor speed remains unchanged at 6.3w. Until there are no drops in the discharge tube within a few minutes, turn off the heating of the intermediate package and discharge tube. Continuously observe the nozzle and turn off the high-speed motor when there are no drips.

3、 Other matters                                                               

  1. During the atomization process, the dust removal induced draft fan can be turned on at a low frequency of 3HZ to allow the high-temperature gas in the atomization chamber to be discharged. Timely attention should be paid to supplementing nitrogen gas in the atomization chamber to maintain positive pressure.
  2. The cooling and blowing air of the atomizing disc has been adjusted to the valve position, do not adjust it arbitrarily.
